Da hatte ich mich schon über die gute Aktion der Referendumsbefürworter beim Labour-Parteitag in Bournemouth gefreut, und nun stellt sich heraus, dass solche Demonstrationen im Sand von der englischen Polizei offenbar nicht hingenommen werden: siehe hier.

Ist das nun noch ein freies Land oder nicht? Muss die Polizei nun schon Spuren im Sand entfernen, nur weil sie nicht mit der offiziellen Regierungslinie übereinstimmen? Und hat die Reiterstaffel von Bournemouth nichts besseres zu tun?

Heute vor 50 Jahren wurde im Winter Garden Theatre am New Yorker Broadway die West Side Story uraufgeführt. Eine der wichtigsten Lehren des Stücks ist leider vergessen oder nie verstanden worden, weshalb wir auf dem besten Weg in eine Gesellschaft sind, in der uns alle Vergewaltiger, Mafiosi oder Terroristen das ewig gleiche Lied vorträllern - und auch noch Gehör finden.
