So there was this poor Jewish community somewhere out in the Midwest which put an ad in the local paper: “Need a mohel who also officiates as a rabbi and works as a shohet. Unfortunately, can only pay 300 $ per month.” After half a year a Mr Yamamoto applies, a Japanese gentleman. Beggars can´t be choosers, so the Jewish community hires him. After a month, the board of the synagogue organizes a meeting. The President of the Synagogue addresses the mohel-rabbi-shohet thusly: “Mr Yamamoto, by and large we have been very happy with your services. Your sermons have been an uplfting experience for the entire community. Your knowledge of the Torah is impressive. Your beef steaks and lamb chops have been immaculately kosher.  We have one tiny request, though. Would you, while performing the holy act of the bris, in the future please refrain from exclaiming: Ha!!!”
